Due to the ongoing Strait of Hormuz crisis and heightened evolving security risks throughout the Upper Gulf region, our vessel operations and port schedules are experiencing significant disruption. The safety of our crew, vessels, cargo, and operational continuity is our absolute priority. Therefore, we had to implement comprehensive protective measures across our service network.
Following the suspension of all shipments to and from the aforementioned region, contingency procedures will have to be implemented for shipments that are already in transit to and from the following countries: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia (excluding Jeddah), Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Yemen.
The above-mentioned containers are affected by these measures and are planned to be discharged at PIPAVAV
We offer the following three options for your cargo, and we require your urgent instructions:
1. Pick-up the container in the current location
2. Change of destination to an alternative port, subject to a revised freight rate (including potential additional charges) and operational feasibility.
3. Return of the cargo to the original port of loading, subject to agreement and at your expense.
Please revert with your instruction by 19th Mar 2026. Based on your instruction, we will further advise you on the handling of Bill of Lading, Freight, applicable Surcharges and any other related operational cost.
Please kindly take note below that,
A. If you choose Option 2 or Option 3, we will arrange the earliest available sailing for your shipment. Should you request for a later sailing, please note that there will be additional operational / storage costs at your expense.
B. If no instructions are received by 19th March 2026, we will have to declare end of voyage for this shipment and the cargo will be stored at an alternative location. All related storage and operational costs will be on your account. Any subsequent further transport will be subject to separate arrangements.
